Programs & Events 

DRMB Booster volunteers support many events throughout the year. Check out the events below as we are always on the lookout for helping hands to support events throughout the year. If you're interested in helping in anyway, send us an email or attend one of our monthly meetings. 
  • Show Props Committee - Put your building and artistic skills to work making props for the upcoming show.  No prior experience necessary, just a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and dig in! Typically occurs during the summer, once a new theme is announced.

  • Tech Crew - Help the student tech crew bring props and equipment onto and off the field during Friday night home football games and Marching Band events.

  • Parade Helper - March with the band during parades to provide water, ensure safe clearance on roadways, etc. We are also looking for a volunteer to drive behind  the band in a couple parades to throw candy to parade goers. 
​
  • Band Camp Cookout - Help us close out band camp week with a cook out for the whole family.  Bring your fold-up chairs and your appetite.

  • Sewing Circle - Can you sew?  If yes, we could use your help through out the year, whether sewing flags for the color guard, repairing uniforms, or helping to hem bibbers.

  • Senior Night - Help us recognize our graduating seniors and their families by organizing the senior awards night at DR. 
​
  • ​Snack Coordinator - As snack coordinator, we need your help to reach out to volunteers to provide and/ or serve snacks and meals for games, parades, competitions.
​
  • Trunk or Treat - Decorate your trunk and load it up with candy to provide a fun treat for our band members. Typically occurs after a practice in October.
​
  • UMASS Band Day Tailgating - Enjoy UMASS Band Day (Amherst) while serving a fun meal for the band and color guard in the spirit of football tailgating.   
​
  • Apparel - Help us design and coordinate marching band apparel sales representing the show. We also coordinating award jackets for the banquet.
      ​  
  • Winter Social - Help us host a social for the band members to get together during the long stretch between the end of football season and the Memorial Day Parade.
​
  • Season Banquet - Help us plan a banquet to thank our band members and close out the year. Typically occurs in May.
